...And We're Back!

So, kudos to Nora for suggesting to revive The Water Cooler. I thinks it's a great idea, so I'll take it upon myself to write the first blog.

After venturing down to LA and going on interview after interview I've finally found some time to relax a little back home in NC. I had three interviews at three different agencies. The first was Abrams Artist Agency. They wanted to make sure I was living in LA before sending my resume on to the next phase, so poop on them. The second was Endeavor. If you've ever seen Entourage it's the agency that Entourage's agency is based on. They are one of the "Big Five" so they deal with movie packaging and very high profile clients. Their building was very mod. The lobbies were all white with funky orange couches. I think I would have a pretty good chance of getting a job there. Carole, from HR, seemed to be pretty impressed with the Stanford degree. Finally, the Stanford name has done something for me! The job pays a buck over CA minimum wage and it's 12 hour day, so that sucks, but you have to start somewhere. Ugh! The third agency was Creative Artists Agency, also a part of the "Big Five." They are pretty much the big kahunah as far agencies go. Unfortunately, they filled all of their open desks at 10am before my 3:30pm inteview. Lame! How rude! They didn't even call me! I could have gone to Six Flags with my cousins, their friends, and my brother. Speaking of Six Flags...the girl that got her feet severed at the Six Flags in Kentucky?!?!? Crazy!

Between all these interviews I received a call from Dreamworks! They wanted me to inteview some more, so I just had two phone inteviews yesterday with Animation and Effects. I hope to know something by the end of the week. Keep your fingers crossed for me! I told all of you that I would be back to the Bay Area, so hopefully Dreamworks won't make me a liar.

My Godson is so adorable!! So big and cute. It's fun to hang out with him even if he does drool all over me. Fortunately drool dries clear. I've already had Bojangles twice, and it's funny in the American Way magazine on the flight home they had a piece with NC native Jaime Pressly (actress). She must have mentioned Bojangles at least 3 times, and tried to explain how it disguises itself as fast food, but really isn't. One day you all must experience the Bo phenomenon!

Okay, well, I think that's it for me. Now, Nora can write a Europe blog that puts my entry to shame! I'm sure it will be much more interesting! I can't wait! Hope everyone is doing well...and staying clear of all those fires in Northern CA!
